In Te­stac­cio, an an­cient and wor­king class part of Ro­me, two floors of a mo­dern glass and steel buil­ding are ho­me to the tren­die­st spot in the ca­pi­tal. Tra­di­tio­nal cui­si­ne, a par­ty at­mo­sphe­re The cur­ved buil­ding in steel and glass wi­th a si­de cy­lin­der that stic­ks out from the roof to­ge­ther wi­th lo­ts of trees, might re­mind you of the sky gar­den of a New York sky­scra­per. In rea­li­ty, we are in a hi­sto­ri­cal part of the ca­pi­tal ci­ty. The fif­th and six­th floor of su­ch a mo­dern buil­ding, amid­st a fabric of old pa­laz­zi, vil­las and con­do­mi­niums, are ho­me to Pa­stic­cio, re­stau­rant, pizzeria, bbq and cock­tail bar, wi­th gar­den and ve­ge­ta­ble gar­den. 25 me­tres of glass for­ces the gue­st to be­hold an in­cre­di­ble view of the ci­ty, a set­ting who­se na­tu­ral beau­ty promp­ted the stu­dio in char­ge of the in­te­rior de­si­gn to opt for a neu­tral sty­le. Plen­ty of whi­te, floors in re­cy­cled teak, 1960s sty­le ta­bles and chairs and cop­per, to mul­ti­ply the ma­ny va­ria­tions of Ro­man light. Pa­stic­cio
