L’ESTATE DI VILLA BERTELLI si impreziosisce con un evento interamente legato all’arte russa e, in particolare, all’espressione artistica di una delle sue capitali storiche e culturali: San Pietroburgo. La mostra “Il Racconto della Pittura”, dal 20 luglio fino al 30 settembre, raccoglie nelle sale della Villa di Vittoria Apuana oltre cento opere tra dipinti ad olio, acquerelli e disegni che – spaziando dall’inizio del secolo scorso fino alla fine degli anni Quaranta – segnano le tappe artistiche tra le conquiste delle Avanguardie, le influenze della modernità, l’emergere delle tradizioni locali, passando dal realismo socialista: un percorso espositivo attraverso le opere di talenti come Russakov, Timoshenko, Zenkovich, Belakovsky e Proshkin che raccoglie l’intera produzione artistica di San Pietroburgo offrendo una visione completa delle varie scuole, delle tendenze e delle correnti creative che si sono susseguite nella Capitale del Nord, “ponte” verso l’Europa occidentale e le sue grandi città. A STORY OF PAINTING | one hundred works on show at Villa Bertelli recount Saint Petersburg’s tradition in art in the first four decades of the s | Summer at Villa Bertelli is made even more precious by Russian art and, in particular, the artistic expression of one of the country’s historic and cultural capitals, Saint Petersburg. Il Racconto della Pittura, from 20 July through 30 September at Villa Bertelli in Vittoria Apuana, brings together more than one hundred works – oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings – ranging in time from the turn of the last century to the late 1940s – that trace developments in art in the Russian city, touching on the conquests of the avant-gardes, the influences of modernity on the one hand and local tradition on the other, through socialist realism. The exhibition shows us works by such talents as Russakov, Timoshenko, Zenkovich, Belakovsky, Proshkin; in short, all of the Saint Petersburg’s art production in the period, for a comprehensive overview of the various schools, trends and currents in art that followed upon one another in Russia’s northern capital, a “bridge” to western Europe and the major link between its great cities and Russia’s. Повествующая живопись | сто произведений искусства, представленные на экспозиции Виллы Бертелли, открывают публике артистичную традицию Санкт Петербурга, существовавшую в первой половине двадцатого века | Лето на Вилле Бертелли приобретает еще большую ценность благодаря событию, целиком связанному с русским искусством. Артистичное выражение одной из культурных и исторических столиц – Санкт Петербурга, будет представлено на выставке “Il Racconto della Pittura” с 20 июля по 30 сентября. Экспозиция собрала в залах виллы квартала Виттории Апуана более ста произведений, включающих в себя масляную живопись, акварель и рисунки, которые, начиная с начала прошлого века и до конца сороковых годов открывают нам артистичные вехи достижений в эпоху авангарда, отразившего влияние современности и местных традиций. Пройдя реальный социализм, который невидимой нитью соединяет экспозиции работ таких талантливых мастеров как Руссаков, Тимошенко, Зенкович, Белаковский и Прошкин, выставка представляет артистичную школу Санкт Петербурга, предлагая тем самым целостный взгляд на разнообразные креативные течения и тенденции, которые сменяли друг друга в северной столице. Не случайно город является “мостом” в западную Европу и главным связующим звеном между Россией и другими европейскими городами.
