Boeing 777 “Lam­pe­du­sa” is a con­cen­tra­te of com­fort and high tech­no­lo­gy. The in­te­riors of the ca­bin have been re­vi­sed, and the new fea­tu­res in­clu­de: sea­ts for eco­no­my and pre­mium eco­no­my sec­tions, Wi-fi con­nec­tion, lar­ger and fa­ster in­di­vi­dual screens wi­th mo­re con­tent, and the pos­si­bi­li­ty of wat­ching li­ve TV broa­d­casts du­ring the flight. The new ser­vi­ce ma­kes it pos­si­ble to con­nect to the web via Wi-fi using a lap­top, a ta­blet or a smart­pho­ne, and al­so to make pho­ne calls, thanks to the in­stal­la­tion of an an­ten­na of the newe­st generation, in­vol­ving 35 squa­re me­ters of fu­se­la­ge and the application of over 6000 ri­ve­ts. The tou­ch­screens, using the An­droid ope­ra­ting sy­stem, are high-de­fi­ni­tion, for clear, bright ima­ges. The remote con­trol uni­ts in bu­si­ness class are vi­deo hand­se­ts to per­mit re­viewing of con­tent whi­le wat­ching a film or a li­ve chan­nel (su­ch as the map di­splay­ing flight in­for­ma­tion).
