Vacheron Constantin, tradition and innovation
In more than 250 years of uninterrupted history, Vacheron Constantin has built up an incomparable heritage consisting of passion and respect for special crafts. From 1 to 13 April, the exclusive spaces of the Brera Picture Gallery will host photographic exhibition “Transmettre. Percorsi di sapere”, featuring the precious creations of renowned watchmakers Vacheron Constantin, the first date on the events calendar of “JEMA – European Artistic Crafts days” . “Transmettre. Percorsi di sapere” is the result of in-depth research that, for more than three years, has taken photographers Tiziana and Gianni Baldizzone to different parts of the world in search of masters who incarnate ancestral skills, that constitute the legacy of humanity's cultural diversity. The photographers visited the ateliers of artists and artisans, united by the awareness that contemporary traditions are the result of past innovation.
