ARCHITECTURE REVEALED THROUGH THE LENS
This exhibition examines how the photographer’s perception alters when portraying the architecture of buildings. It exhibits the impersonal style of the late 19th century, the search for a new language of historical avant-garde art and the orientation of the post-war period, amidst press photography, shots of urban spaces and abstract experimentation. Several historical images featured in books published by Alinari are on display, in addition to those captured by famous photographers including Gabriele Basilico, Lucia Moholy, George Everard Kidder Smith, Fulvio Roiter, Ugo Mulas and Cesare Colombo. 7 May – 27 August Building with Light Architectural Photography from the MART Archives MART Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto, corso Bettini 43, Rovereto (Trento) www.mart.tn.it
