REICHEL / PUGH
Reichel/pugh design studio has recently proposed two very interesting concept designs . One is of a classic sailing yacht the other of a modern one,the first one is of 220’code named 262T.he exterior design work was carried out by the California based design studio which sports three guest cabins, an owner’s suite and accommodation for a crew of eight.the styling clearly recalls the 220’“Hetarios” which Reichel/pugh Yacht design drew up for Baltic Yachts. The second is a 55metre flybridge sailing yacht named 267 which the design studio has developed in terms of naval architecture and design.
It’s an interesting project and somewhat unusual at least as shapes go. It features a sinuous superstructure which extends up to include multi level decks, a terrace aft in the stern area which overlooks the sea and a really large deckhouse amidships contains the helm controls station which sports an excellent view from which to monitor everything. The interior layout comprises four guest cabins, accommodation for ten crew and a mega owner’s suite which looks out over the sea. For further information:www.reichel-pugh.com
