En­ri­co Gob­bi’s Team for Design stu­dio has car­ried out pro­ject work for King Shark by Ar­ra­bi­to Na­val Ar­chi­tec­ts. This is Rossinavi’s new 70 me­tre: an ice class cer­ti­fied yacht de­sti­ned to crui­se in the mo­st ad­ver­se ex­tre­me con­di­tions. King Shark has al­rea­dy been sold to a ve­ry weal­thy and for­tu­na­te ow­ner. Con­struc­tion will ta­ke pla­ce at Rossinavi’s pre­mi­ses in Via­reg­gio whe­re this re­no­w­ned shi­pyard has al­rea­dy built 70 me­tre Hi­gh Po­wer III ( whi­ch hit the wa­ter na­med Nump­tia). The new yacht is going to be an Ex­plo­rer Yacht whi­ch will stand out of the cho­rus li­ne in terms of tra­di­tio­nal pa­ra­me­ters. In the ca­se in point spe­cial em­pha­sis has been ad­dres­sed to on board li­fe­sty­le and ae­sthe­tics. Thanks to a won­der­ful interior design whi­ch is de­fi­ni­te­ly char­ming and ele­gant as mu­ch as it is com­for­ta­ble, this yacht is the ideal one to crui­se wi­th in sty­le in warm Ca­rib­bean wa­ters ju­st as mu­ch as in An­tarc­tic’s free­zing tem­pe­ra­tu­res, wi­th a ran­ge of 6,000 nau­ti­cal mi­les. In ad­di­tion to spor­ting a so­mewhat hef­ty fuel tank, King Shark is al­so ea­sy on fuel con­sump­tion thanks to a so­phi­sti­ca­ted Die­sel elec­tric sy­stem whi­ch is mo­ni­to­red via a Po­wer Management sy­stem whi­ch re­lea­ses the po­wer re­qui­red ac­cor­din­gly, whi­ch is pro­du­ced by the gen-se­ts to as­si­st the ther­mal en­gi­nes whi­le op­ti­mi­zing con­sump­tion le­vels. Among other plus marks whi­ch King Shark can be proud of is the Rolls Roy­ce Azi­pod wi­th as an op­tio­nal re­que­st a han­dy DMS (Dy­na­mic Po­si­tio­ning Sy­stem).
