SRM Yachts has recently made its debut in superyachts’ international yachting scene with Project Ardito. This 27 metre yacht is the smallest of three making up the range. The other two are 33 and 46 metres long . Their concepts share the same policy which gives top priority to hull efficiency so as to offer considerable performance and reduced fuel consumption. The two smaller models also share the same construction materials: composites while the 46 metre will sport a steel hull and light aluminium alloys. The original disposition of the interior layouts privilege continuity and communication between indoor and outdoor spaces with detailed, and dedicated care to the owner’s and guests’ comfort. The 27 and the 33 metre yachts will have specially designed engine rooms to host new Volvo Penta IPS engines so as to optimize efficiency when cruising in displacing mode and when planing which thanks to the hefty power houses is easily achieved in few metres. Three thermal units have been foreseen to power the 27 metre and as many as four for the 33 metre version. These three projects fit in well in the superyacht range and each one of the three possesses what’s needed to be very competitive in their respective segments.the two smaller ones will be built in small series to guarantee ample customisation and reduced construction to delivery times. The 46 metre flag ship on the other hand will be a full custom yacht, to best satisfy special customer needs accordingly. Special attention will be paid on all three models in terms of electronics which will be handled by Sanremomare. The company can boast vast consolidated experience in this field and has installed navigation systems, domotics, on award winners from Amer Yachts. As for Progetto Ardito, the shipyard is currently assessing the pros and cons regarding Italian registration under an LOA of 24 metres which is much appreciated by the market.
