SRM Ya­ch­ts has re­cen­tly ma­de its de­but in su­pe­rya­ch­ts’ in­ter­na­tio­nal ya­ch­ting sce­ne wi­th Pro­ject Ar­di­to. This 27 me­tre ya­cht is the smal­le­st of th­ree ma­king up the ran­ge. The other two are 33 and 46 me­tres long . Their con­cep­ts share the sa­me po­li­cy whi­ch gi­ves top prio­ri­ty to hull ef­fi­cien­cy so as to of­fer con­si­de­ra­ble per­for­man­ce and re­du­ced fuel con­sump­tion. The two smal­ler mo­dels al­so share the sa­me con­struc­tion ma­te­rials: com­po­si­tes whi­le the 46 me­tre will sport a steel hull and light alu­mi­nium al­loys. The original di­spo­si­tion of the in­te­rior lay­ou­ts pri­vi­le­ge con­ti­nui­ty and com­mu­ni­ca­tion bet­ween in­door and out­door spa­ces wi­th de­tai­led, and de­di­ca­ted ca­re to the ow­ner’s and guests’ com­fort. The 27 and the 33 me­tre ya­ch­ts will ha­ve spe­cial­ly de­si­gned en­gi­ne rooms to ho­st new Vol­vo Pen­ta IPS en­gi­nes so as to op­ti­mi­ze ef­fi­cien­cy when crui­sing in di­spla­cing mo­de and when pla­ning whi­ch thanks to the hef­ty po­wer hou­ses is ea­si­ly achie­ved in few me­tres. Th­ree ther­mal uni­ts ha­ve been fo­re­seen to po­wer the 27 me­tre and as ma­ny as four for the 33 me­tre ver­sion. The­se th­ree pro­jec­ts fit in well in the su­pe­rya­cht ran­ge and ea­ch one of the th­ree pos­ses­ses what’s nee­ded to be ve­ry com­pe­ti­ti­ve in their re­spec­ti­ve seg­men­ts.the two smal­ler ones will be built in small se­ries to gua­ran­tee am­ple cu­sto­mi­sa­tion and re­du­ced con­struc­tion to de­li­ve­ry ti­mes. The 46 me­tre flag ship on the other hand will be a full cu­stom ya­cht, to be­st sa­ti­sfy spe­cial cu­sto­mer needs ac­cor­din­gly. Spe­cial at­ten­tion will be paid on all th­ree mo­dels in terms of elec­tro­nics whi­ch will be hand­led by San­re­mo­ma­re. The com­pa­ny can boa­st va­st con­so­li­da­ted ex­pe­rien­ce in this field and has in­stal­led na­vi­ga­tion sy­stems, do­mo­tics, on award win­ners from Amer Ya­ch­ts. As for Pro­get­to Ar­di­to, the shi­pyard is cur­ren­tly as­ses­sing the pros and cons re­gar­ding Ita­lian re­gi­stra­tion un­der an LOA of 24 me­tres whi­ch is mu­ch ap­pre­cia­ted by the mar­ket.
