This ya­cht’s na­val ar­chi­tec­tu­re, in­te­rior and ex­te­rior de­si­gn has been car­ried out by Cec­ca­rel­li Ya­cht De­si­gn. The GS80 is the fir­st of Grand So­leil’s Cu­stom li­ne. It’s over 25 me­tres long but slo­ts in­to the lo­wer seg­ment of up to 24 me­tres sin­ce the hull and deck are no lon­ger than 23.99 me­tres.this is al­so Grand So­leil’s fir­st ma­xi and the hull is all car­bon fi­bres wi­th com­pe­ti­ti­ve ra­cing in mind. Ho­we­ver she’s prin­ci­pal­ly a fa­st per­for­man­ce crui­ser built to un­der­ta­ke de­man­ding crui­ses. Con­se­quen­tly the le­vel of on board com­fort is no­ta­bly hi­gh. The in­te­rior lay­out is di­vi­ded in two main areas to gua­ran­tee guests’ pri­va­cy. The crew ca­bins ha­ve been si­tua­ted aft wi­th in­de­pen­dent ac­cess from the stern area whi­ch con­nec­ts di­rec­tly wi­th the chart ta­ble, other elec­tro­nic na­vi­ga­tio­nal aids, en­gi­ne room and gal­ley. The guests’ quar­ters in­clu­ding the ow­ner’s are si­tua­ted in the bow sec­tion as fol­lo­ws: the ow­ner’s ca­bin and two gue­st ca­bins plus a four­th spa­ce whi­ch can dou­ble as ca­bin when nee­ded. “I am ve­ry hap­py to work wi­th Grand So­leil Cu­stom whi­ch is Can­tie­re del Par­do’s new brand na­me.
