The renewed Custom Line thanks to Francesco Paszkowski’s creativity which is known for sporty masculine traits, is clearly visible in the shape of the new 120’ featuring a streaming no frills cutting silhouette which comprises several innovative solutions. Ample use of carbon fibre which has been deployed in the superstructure translates into the fly bridge top deck being free of support props which ‘normally’ run down to the cockpit the result is a more appealing elegant look. The sliding door leading into the living area from the cockpit is set at 45° and comes in one of two versions: the classic traditional one with cut glass sliding panels and one which slots into the ceiling thanks to a new gimballed system which has been developed and finalised with Mecaer Aviation Group. Thanks to this system the owner can choose to bring together the living interior area and the cockpit thereby creating a single 80 square metre space furnished with ‘curtains’ that act as separators when seeking greater privacy. Accessing the living area inside we find a raised floating flooring which offers a broader surrounding view which is further enhanced by ample glazed panels which extend along all the superstructure from bow to stern. The general decor takes after that of several luxury homes. It is highlighted by structural columns which contain lighting, audio and A/C systems and plants. The owner’s suite is situated along the bow area of the main deck and runs full beam across measuring 35 square metres. It comprises twin bathrooms with a single shower unit in the

middle of the two, a walk in wardrobe/ dressing room and table. An opening/closing panoramic terrace can be installed into the topsides on request. The guest cabins are situated as is customary along the lower deck. Two are VIP and face the sides to offer a better view and are placed in the stern area, while the other two are single and are situated in the bow with a fold away extra berth. The crew dispose of their own passage ways including the pantry area and lounge so as not to interfere with guests. A separate crew galley and four cabins with dedicated bathroom are situated along the lower deck as well. Two of them are dedicated to captain and hostess and the remaining two twins are for the seamen. The upper deck hosts the helm controls station equipped with latest generation LOOP integrated system by Naviop-simrad with touch screen displays allowing you to monitor and run all on board plants with a stroke of one finger. A special feature concerning the exterior layout is that each one of the areas can be as one as if there were a single 100 square metre space between the fly-deck and the bow area which is also directly accessible from a secondary helm controls station. The fly deck is fitted out with a hydro massage tub, free standing furniture and lateral sun pads in the bow section as well as an informal dining area and a roll-away bimini top which slots into the see through hard top. The stern features a DMT Dual Transom Mode which in this case comprises the use of the stern transom which when underway hide the steps leading up to the cockpit which is appealing and creates a cleaner finish to the design. The Custom Line is new also below the waterline: it has been extended further along the bow to ensure more efficiency and performance while saving on consumption. With a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L 2,638 HP engines, the Custom Line 120’is capable of reaching an estimated top speed of 25 knots with a range of 1,100 nm at 11 knots. Stabiliser fins underway and at Zero speed guarantee greater comfort also while lying to an anchor.
