Piaz­za Duo­mo De­di­ca­to a Sant’alessandro, pa­tro­no di Ber­ga­mo, con­ser­va nei suoi sot­ter­ra­nei re­sti Ro­ma­ni­ci. Piaz­za Vec­chia Edi­fi­cio del XII se­co­lo, ri­co­strui­to nel ‘500, fu la se­de dei pri­mi con­so­li cit­ta­di­ni. Thir­teen­th- cen­tu­ry buil­ding re­built in the six-teen­th- cen­tu­ry, it was the seat of the fir­st ci­ty con­suls. Piaz­za Vec­chia Det­ta Cam­pa­no­ne per la gran­de cam­pa­na che suo­na 180 rin­toc­chi ogni se­ra. Kno­wn as the “Cam­pa­no­ne” (Big bell) for its lar­ge bell that rings 180 times ea­ch eve­ning.
