Where Milan - - SIGHTSEEING -

UR­BAN LAND­SCAPES Mi­lan's ur­ban land­scape, and the metropoli­tan land­scape in gen­eral, are the cen­tral themes of the ex­hi­bi­tion en­ti­tled ‘Ur­ban Per­spec­tives. Por­trait of a city' (3 -30 Novem­ber), a col­lec­tive show fea­tur­ing the work of five Ital­ian artists in­clud­ing Na­di­aanna Crosig­nani, Paolo San­galli and Livia Romilde Vac­caro, with their pic­to­rial works, and Gior­gio Lo Cas­cio (see photo) and Michele Ran­zani, with their pho­to­graphic im­ages. The ex­hi­bi­tion com­pares a se­ries of widely dif­fer­ing tech­niques, tak­ing view­ers on an artis­tic jour­ney whose roots, though steeped in tra­di­tion, also fo­cus on ex­pres­sions of a more con­tem­po­rary na­ture. The land­scape is a meta­phoric con­text, an eclectic blend of the past and the present.
