In Novem­ber, from Mon­day 20 through Sun­day 26, mu­sic takes cen­ter stage in Mi­lan with Mi­lano Mu­sic Week.

There’s the glo­ri­ous La Scala Opera House, the San Siro con­cert venue, the head­quar­ters of Italy’s record in­dus­try, nu­mer­ous ra­dio sta­tions and sev­eral top-notch schools. In ad­di­tion to fash­ion and de­sign, Mi­lan is also ‘the city of mu­sic’. And, start­ing from Novem­ber this year, Mi­lan is set to host Mu­sic Week.

In Novem­ber, mu­sic takes cen­tre stage in Mi­lan. The ex­cite­ment lead­ing up to the an­nual La Scala sea­son pre­miere on 7 De­cem­ber at­tracts opera fans from around the world, but the Mi­lan mu­sic scene is more than just opera; with con­certs span­ning gen­res such as clas­si­cal, rock, pop and Indie mu­sic, there is some­thing for all mu­si­cal tastes. This year, how­ever, there is a new event that will fur­ther en­hance Mi­lan’s mu­si­cal land­scape:

Mi­lano Mu­sic Week, tak­ing place from 20 to 26 Novem­ber, will be ded­i­cated to pop and rock mu­sic with events fea­tured at dif­fer­ent lo­ca­tions across the city.
