A bril­liant new ad­di­tion to the Mi­lanese culi­nary scene, Chi­uma's of­fers a range of classic and con­tem­po­rary op­tions in a so­phis­ti­cated, wel­com­ing at­mos­phere. By

This new restau­rant is the brain­child of Marco Chi­u­menti and his wife Flo­ri­ana Fedeli, and of­fers din­ers a culi­nary ex­pe­ri­ence com­bin­ing the tra­di­tions of Neapoli­tan cui­sine with the creative, in­no­va­tive flair of a team of young chefs. Mat­tia Su­sani, a young chef who joined Chi­uma's brigade af­ter some valu­able work­ing ex­pe­ri­ences at the Roof Gar­den in Bergamo and the Unico in Mi­lan un­der chef Fabrizio Fer­rari, helms the kitchen. Su­sani works along­side sous chef Ni­cola Vi­ola who be­gan his ca­reer at the Sail Inn restau­rant, spe­cial­iz­ing in the pro­cess­ing of flours and doughs, with a par­tic­u­lar em­pha­sis on high-end pas­try mak­ing. This new restau­rant is en­hanced by con­sul­ta­tions with chef Fabrizio Fer­rari and som­me­lier Davide Va­le­rio. 58 dy­namic menu in which every dish is in­fused with the old-world flavours of Naples upgraded with a con­tem­po­rary twist. Its el­e­gant in­te­ri­ors, with eye-catch­ing dé­cor, fea­ture a per­fect blend of design, com­fort and good food. Its cosy, light-filled spa­ces have an in­ter­na­tional feel, mak­ing it a per­fect set­ting for lunch or din­ner. Whether you're there for busi­ness or plea­sure, din­ing at Chi­uma's is a unique ex­pe­ri­ence! The up­per floor is an ex­clu­sive, in­ti­mate space that seats up to 34 din­ers. The lower floor, on the other hand, has 16 place set­tings di­vided up among larger ta­bles for those in search of a more con­vivial ex­pe­ri­ence. Be­ing a restau­ra­teur runs in Marco's blood. In the mid-nine­teenth cen­tury, his great grand­mother owned one of the most beau­ti­ful and el­e­gant restau­rants in Naples, ‘La Regina d'Italia'. This was one of the favourite haunts of Giu­lia Minero King Um­berto I of Savoy and his wife Margherita. Al­though the restau­rant was de­stroyed dur­ing World War I, the Chi­u­menti fam­ily's pas­sion for ele­gance and good-qual­ity food per­sisted, and Marco was fi­nally able to ful­fill his dream of open­ing his own restau­rant.
