Felice a Testaccio
Established in 1936 and renowned for its traditional Roman specialties, Felice a Testaccio, one of the capital's most famous trattorias, has recently opened its first Milanese branch in the shadow of the Duomo. Standouts include a triumph of tantalizing starters based on traditional Roman recipes. The menu offers local classics like tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta strands with tangy, melting sheep's cheese and black pepper), pasta with gricia, roast lamb and Roman-style artichokes, all accompanied by an extensive wine list. To complete the meal there is a selection of mouth watering homemade desserts, including the venue's legendary tiramisù.
