Rosa Moceniga, a unique fragrance

Inspired by the tradition of the Republic of Venice and its age-old trade with the Far East, the ancient origins of the ‘Rosa Moceniga' fragrance by The Merchant of Venice are associated with the Venetian art of perfume making. This exquisite, rare flower, that originated in China, was imported from France by Lucia Mocenigo, a close friend of Josephine Bonaparte, who was passionate about these flowers. Its strong, fruity fragrance gives birth to a woman's perfume. The head notes seduce with fresh notes of Sicilian bergamot and the sweetness of rose essence. At its heart, this floral bouquet is exalted by hints of magnolia and lotus flowers, while a mixture of musk, white cedarwood and vanilla rounds out the scent for a deep captivating finish. Like all the women's fragrances of the ‘Murano Collection', ‘Rosa Moceniga' is contained in an elegant bottle inspired by exquisite handcrafted glass. www.themerchantofvenice.com.
