Welcome to Naples!
Welcome to Naples in the month that guides us straight to the heart of spring. During this season visiting Campania means sharing a feast of colours and flavours and turning on all your senses, to fully live the local spirit, always between the sacred and the profane. Highest time: the week before Easter, during which is worth being part of at least one of the many processions in the city or along the coast. In this issue cover you’ll find a suggestion on where to go on Easter Monday, last event in the Holy Week, to really mingle with Neapolitan people. This is the day of outdoor trips, with friends and relatives. Favourite destinations: the coast and the islands, awaken from a long winter. Food needed: casatiello and fava beans, any kind of cold cuts, and the famous and ancient pastiera, the peculiar Easter cake already mentioned in the 17th century Gian Battista Basile “Lo cunto de li cunti”, in the “Gatta Cenerentola” tale, first version of worldwide famous Disney Cinderella.
