( Tuesdays only) Alva Noto and Ryuichi Sakamoto, a German electronic musician and Japanese pianist, composer, and singer, respective­ly, have been working together for almost two decades, blending their distinct musical background­s to form one unique sound. Their collaborat­ions include the Golden Globe-nominated score for (2015), starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. This month, they appear as one of the final acts in the annual Romaeuropa Festival, a multi-disciplina­ry contempora­ry performanc­e event. In this one-night-only show, Sakamoto’s piano goes up against Noto’s electronic music to create a new sensory experience. Catch it on 25 November at the PDM.
