It all be­gan with an im­por­tant ar­chi­tec­tu­ral pro­ject con­cei­ved by world-re­no­w­ned in­te­rior ar­chi­tect Adam D. Ti­ha­ny, who­se me­ti­cu­lous at­ten­tion to de­tail is ap­pa­rent in the in­te­rior dé­cor of the Oro Re­stau­rant. With its Mu­ra­no glass chan­de­liers, mar­ve­lous gol­den cei­ling and out­door ter­ra­ce re­mi­ni­scent of Ve­ni­ce's cha­rac­te­ri­stic ‘cam­piel­li' (squa­res), Oro of­fers guests a quin­tes­sen­tial­ly Ve­ne­tian set­ting.

The true ma­ster­mind be­hind the re­stau­rant is Exe­cu­ti­ve Chef Da­vi­de Bi­set­to (in the pho­to), who won't fail to im­press you with so­phi­sti­ca­ted di­shes in­spi­red by the gastronomic tra­di­tions of Ve­ni­ce, and his ex­qui­si­te pre­sen­ta­tions. This is a unique experience that will de­light your eyes and ti­til­la­te your ta­ste buds! His mul­ti-award win­ning me­nu is ba­sed on the use of su­stai­na­ble, seasonal pro­du­ce and the fi­ne­st lo­cal in­gre­dien­ts.

With star­ters li­ke Red pra­wn and spi­der crab au na­tu­ral, pink gra­pe­fruit aspic, ci­trus, Sant'Era­smus cu­cum­ber sor­bet, and to­ma­to wa­ter Bloo­dy Ma­ry (all ser­ved to­ge­ther), as well as main cour­ses, in­clu­ding sea bass brai­sed in Pro­sec­co, ser­ved in a tra­di­tio­nal sto­ne di­sh, Chef Bi­set­to's cui­si­ne cap­ti­va­tes Ve­ne­tians and tou­rists ali­ke, for an un­pa­ral­le­led gourmet experience.

From this year, guests can en­joy the ve­ge­ta­ble gar­den's flavours as they sit next to the ve­ge­ta­bles plan­ted in rai­sed beds in the gar­dens of Bel­mond Ho­tel Ci­pria­ni.
