9TYZ mak­ing a state­ment

Al­though fairly new to the dance­hall scene, fast-ris­ing singer 9TYZ is mak­ing a state­ment with her EP Bad Like 90’s. Con­sist­ing of seven tracks, the set fea­tures songs in­clud­ing El­e­va­tion, Best Life, Ad­dicted, Slow Wine, and the fan favourite Mr Hot Boy. The pro­duc­tion was done by YGF Records.

“I am just re­ally happy with the over­all love that I have been get­ting, so I have to say thanks to my fans,” she said.

9TYZ is also pro­mot­ing the mu­sic video for Mr Hot Boy, which re­cently pre­miered. The video can be seen on other so­cial me­dia sites, in­clud­ing Youtube.

“The wait is over! The video for Mr Hot Boy is fi­nally out and it is pretty cool. For those who have seen it, I’ve been get­ting noth­ing but love,” she said.

In the video, di­rected by Da­manic Visu­alz, the singer shows off her act­ing skills along­side Deno Crazy, while belt­ing lyrics that speak about a guy whose in­se­cu­ri­ties are get­ting the bet­ter of him. It was shot in var­i­ous lo­ca­tions across the Cor­po­rate Area.

9TYZ said she is ready to knock down ev­ery ob­sta­cle to en­sure that she has a space in this game.

“Dance­hall mu­sic is dom­i­nated by males, but I’m will­ing to go twice as hard to create a big im­pact,” she added.
