THE JAMAICA AgroProcessors Association’s (JAPA) journey with Tech Solutions Limited (TSL) can be traced back to the 1990s. It was a very pivotal time for the ackee industry as the product was banned from the USA for many years. TSL was instrumental in preparing many companies to become HACCP-compliant, and it was mainly through the hard work and dedication of Dr Gordon and his team from TSL that access was once again granted to this lucrative market.

Since then, our relationship has continued to grow from strength to strength. TSL is the company that you immediately think of when you have a crisis, such as in 2006 when once again ackees were banned from entering the USA. TSL played a critical role in the re-entry to this market. They are truly a company that offers solutions to the problems faced in the food industry. They offer a wide range of professional services that is comparable with any First World country. Front row, from left: Dr Wendy-Gaye Thomas, Camille Beckford Scott, Dr André Gordon, Trudy Gordon and George Blake. Back row: James Kerr. George Blake – 20 years

TSL has kept abreast with the everchanging global standards in the food industry and is well respected by all the foreign accreditation bodies. The team is very motivated and fully committed to the company and they remain a constant year after year. Their service is available to all businesses, from the very small to the very large. Each gets the same level of professional service and attention, as they recognise that all large companies were once micro or small companies. TSL’s knowledge and expertise is unmatched in the industry, and once you engage them you know that, without a doubt, you will be getting first-class service.

JAPA congratulates TSL on their 20th anniversary and wish them continued success going forward. We are truly proud of you.

Henry Wilson – 20 years
