DUE TO the an­tic­i­pated ef­fects of Hur­ri­cane Matthew on Ja­maica, the United States Em­bassy in Kingston will be closed for rou­tine con­sular ser­vices on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 3 and Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 4, 2016. Visa in­ter­views will not be con­ducted and rou­tine Amer­i­can cit­i­zen ser­vices ap­point­ments will not be kept on the days spec­i­fied.

In­di­vid­u­als who had non­im­mi­grant visa in­ter­view ap­point­ments sched­uled for these days can resched­ule their ap­point­ments by vis­it­ing the ap­point­ment sched­ul­ing web­site at ais.usvisa-info.com/enjm/niv.

Those ap­pli­cants who had im­mi­grant visa ap­point­ments sched­uled for those days will be con­tacted by the con­sular section to be in­formed of their new ap­point­ment date.
