Etana’s backlash

Jamaica Gleaner - - FLAIR -

Local reggae artiste Etana got a dose of reality when a snippet of her interview with Entertainment Report aired via social media. In it, she stated her support for Donald Trump. Fans and non-fans took to social media to express their disappointment at her choice, and the fact that she appears clueless on even the nationality of Trump’s wife. To add insult to injury, it was revealed that her music is not a reflection of her personal views. A tearful Etana hopped on Facebook Live trying to defend her claims and clear her name. But, by then, the damage had already been done.

P.S. Tanya Stephens seems to be feeling it, too, for jumping on the Trump train. Sigh! Will they ever learn?
