Cap­ti­vat­ing ‘Tris­tan und Isolde’ en­cores Sun­day at Palace Cine­plex

PA­TRONS WHO made it to the Carib last Satur­day for the start of The Met: Live in HD 2016-17 sea­son and the 100th trans­mis­sion in the se­ries’ history were cap­ti­vated by Tris­tan und Isolde by distin­guished Ger­man com­poser, Richard Wag­ner.

The au­di­ence was pulled in by the dra­matic opera from start to fin­ish, as Nina Stemme sang her sig­na­ture role, with Stu­art Skelton singing Tris­tan.

The per­for­mance was pre­sented by Palace Amuse­ment in as­so­ci­a­tion with the Ja­maican Ger­man So­ci­ety and The Gleaner, and en­cores at Palace Cine­plex this Sun­day at 11:30 a.m.

The Ja­maican Ger­man So­ci­ety’s Kame­sha Cooke and Arthur Bogues share the lens at the MET Opera LIVE in HD per­for­mance of ‘Tris­tan und Isolde’. Zach Gal­i­fi­anakis and Kris­ten Wiig star in ‘Master­minds’.
