Op­po­si­tion Leader Por­tia Simp­son Miller (sec­ond right) cuts a rib­bon at the han­dover cer­e­mony of new fur­ni­ture to the Majesty Gar­dens In­fant School in Kingston on Oc­to­ber 12. Par­tic­i­pat­ing in the rib­bon cut­ting are (from left): stu­dent Mailan Wil­son; Prin­ci­pal Bev­er­ley Tyn­dale; chair­per­son of the Early Child­hood Com­mis­sion Tr­isha Wil­liams-Singh; Act­ing Ex­ec­u­tive Direc­tor of the Early Child­hood Com­mis­sion Kar­lene Des­lan­des; and stu­dent Ricardo Wat­son. The fur­ni­ture was de­liv­ered by the Com­mis­sion. Simp­son Miller is also mem­ber of par­lia­ment for the area.
