Ja vs Suri­name moved to Sta­dium

THE 2016 Sco­tia­bank Caribbean Foot­ball Union men’s Caribbean Cup game, Ja­maica ver­sus Suri­name, has been shifted to the Na­tional Sta­dium. The game will be played on Sun­day, Novem­ber 13, start­ing at 6 p.m.

Orig­i­nally set for Oc­to­ber 5 at the An­thony Spauld­ing Sports Com­plex, the match was post­poned be­cause of the threat to the is­land from Hur­ri­cane Matthew.

En­trance to the match, which must have a clear win­ner, will be grand­stand $1,500, and bleach­ers $700.

In a re­lease yes­ter­day, the Ja­maica Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion said de­tails on the avail­abil­ity of tick­ets will be known in the com­ing days.

Both Ja­maica and Suri­name are level on three points each in Group One of the com­pe­ti­tion. The win­ners of the group will qual­ify for next year’s Gold Cup.
