PAULETTE ED­WARDS is the pic­ture of el­e­gance as she is con­grat­u­lated by Prime Min­is­ter An­drew Hol­ness at the cer­e­mony of in­vesti­ture and pre­sen­ta­tion of Na­tional Hon­ours and Awards on Heroes Day, Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 17.

She was pre­sented with the Badge of Hon­our for long and faith­ful ser­vice for her con­tri­bu­tion to rd­u­ca­tion, re­li­gion and com­mu­nity ser­vice.

Ms Ed­wards is a teacher at Obis­tan Kin­der Prepara­tory School, owned by the Church of the Open Bible, where she teaches Span­ish and read­ing to kinder­garten and prepara­tory stu­dents.

She is a de­vout Chris­tian and has been at­tend­ing the Church of the Open Bible, 12 Wash­ing­ton Boule­vard, for more than 23 years. She is the founder and leader of Cho­sen, one of the church’s gospel choirs.

The school and the church con­grat­u­late her on her achieve­ment.
