We’re what’s wrong with justice

Jamaica Gleaner - - OPINION & .COMMENTARY -

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The justice system is indicative of the entire state of affairs of this country. It is indicative of US; it speaks to our action and inaction.

What justice being served to us is being paid from our ‘tiny’ combined indiscretions and transgressions, whether from actions and inactions. The consequence for sin is more sin.

Until we move beyond the fears that inspire our action and inaction, until we invest more than we withdraw, until we become less selfish, our target will remain only an ideal.

We have too many takers and too few people willing to do anything about it. Until then, injustice will only continue to breed more injustice.

TAFARI MORGAN
