Lion Er­rol Lee – cen­ten­nial district gov­er­nor, district 60B

Leo Club of down­town Kingston awarded two young univer­sity stu­dents (cen­tre) bur­saries to off­set mis­cel­la­neous ex­penses at the Univer­sity of the West Indies. The awardees showed ded­i­ca­tion to com­mu­nity trans­for­ma­tion. Er­rol Lee

LION ER­ROL has been a mem­ber of the Lions Club of Kingston for over 30 years. He served the club in sev­eral ca­pac­i­ties on the board in ev­ery po­si­tion ex­cept trea­surer, and was elected pres­i­dent in 1999.

Be­cause of his out­stand­ing per­for­mance, he was awarded the Melvin Jones Fel­low­ship by the club in 2003. Lion Er­rol served as district chair­man on sev­eral oc­ca­sions, zone chair­man, chair­man Re­gion 4, and vice district gov­er­nor.

His theme for the Lion­is­tic Year 2016-2017 – ‘Serv­ing Hu­man­ity with Love and Unity’ – demon­strates his com­mit­ment to mak­ing a dif­fer­ence in the lives of peo­ple and work­ing for the com­mon good, a phi­los­o­phy which he strongly pro­motes in his lead­er­ship of the district.
