The ap­petis­ing pan chicken that had pa­trons ea­ger to get a taste. Kha­dine ‘Miss Kitty’ Hyl­ton kept the au­di­ence pumped and en­ter­tained, giv­ing pa­trons a chance to win gift bas­kets and bags filled with good­ies.

While in­dulging in as much chicken as pos­si­ble, pa­trons were treated to per­for­mances from sev­eral artistes, in­clud­ing Kevin Down­swell, Sanchez, Tar­rus Ri­ley and Bee­nie Man.

Soon it was time to award the best of the best, and Terry-Ann David­son from St Ann earned

her­self the 2016 Cham­pi­onship ti­tle and third place in the Mir­a­cle Tallawah Sauce com­pe­ti­tion. “I feel awe­some. Noth­ing is pos­si­ble with­out God, and peo­ple doubted me but I de­cided I was go­ing to work hard in hopes that I would win. My friend, De­bra Fran­cis, was a strong mo­ti­va­tor and I’m just speech­less,” she told Food.

In the Mir­a­cle Tallawah Sauce com­pe­ti­tion, St Ann’s Cas­sius Gayle took first place and Au­drea Charl­ton of St Cather­ine claimed the sec­ond place spot.

Com­ing in sec­ond in the PAN cham­pi­onship was Hanover parish cham­pion, Vandyke Bernard and third place was won by Gayle.

Sec­ond-place win­ner of PAN 2016, Vandyke Bernard, is hard at work.
