JTA celebrates with you
THE JAMAICA Teachers’ Association (JTA) takes great pleasure in commending and congratulating the Herbert Morrison Technical High School for providing 40 years of sterling contribution to education and nation building.
From its humble beginnings in 1976, Herbert Morrison Technical High School has grown and diversified its offerings to become one of Jamaica’s premier institutions of learning. Without question, Herbert Morrison High embodies a tradition of resilience and excellence, an institution that has championed the value and relevance of technical and vocational education in Jamaica.
The theme for your celebrations, ‘Celebrating Our Strength and Perseverance in Promoting a Culture of Excellence’, is quite fitting and appropriate. As an association, we note your phenomenal achievements over the years in academics, sports and the arts. In so doing, we applaud your impact on the educational landscape as a successful contributor to the development of human capital, nationally and internationally, because your students can be found everywhere. As you celebrate your 40th anniversary, it is our hope that you will reflect and reposition yourself for the years ahead. The JTA happily celebrates with you the achievement of this milestone. We are appreciative of the efforts of the many stakeholders who played their part in the development of the school, including your current principal, Mr Paul Adams, who has served as a distinguished president of this association.
We, therefore, salute the board of governors, the
administrators, faculty members, and the entire Herbert Morrison Technical High School family for their excellent contribution to the social, spiritual, economic and educational growth of this outstanding Jamaican institution.
The Jamaica Teachers’ Association wishes you continued success and God’s richest blessings as you embark on the journey of another 40 years. HOWARD R. ISAACS President Jamaica Teachers’ Association
Students of Herbert Morrison Technical High School.
