‘Cashy’ FLOW Christ­mas starts Novem­ber 11

TELECOM­MU­NI­CA­TIONS FIRM FLOW is herald­ing the Yuletide sea­son with a tra­di­tional take on Christ­mas this year.

On Fri­day, FLOW of­fi­cially launched its 2016 Christ­mas pro­mo­tion aptly tagged ‘The Most Won­der­ful Christ­mas’.

The pro­mo­tion of­fers cash prizes of $50,000 each for 12 lucky FLOW cus­tomers each week, with three grand prize win­ners ex­pected to re­ceive $500,000 shop­ping sprees at Courts Ja­maica Ltd by the time the pro­mo­tion wraps up on De­cem­ber 29. In to­tal, FLOW will be giv­ing away more than $5.3 mil­lion in cash over the six-week pe­riod.

Kim Lee, head of chan­nel mar­ket­ing, tele­vi­sion, and pro­mo­tions, said the pro­mo­tion was de­signed to help make cus­tomers’ Christ­mas more mem­o­rable.

“We know that this is the time of year that we show our friends and loved ones how much we care about them. Each week, our win­ners will have the chance to win cash, so they can do just that. Our pro­mo­tion is about pro­vid­ing that lit­tle ex­tra to make the sea­son ‘more won­der­ful’,” she said.

“Twelve lucky cus­tomers will get a sur­prise phone call ev­ery week ad­vis­ing them of their good for­tune. For our grand prize win­ners, the new year will bring a half a mil­lion dol­lars in brand-new fur­ni­ture and ap­pli­ances from Courts,” said Lee. All weekly win­ners will be in­cluded in the grand prize se­lec­tion.

FLOW pre­paid mo­bile sub­scribers will be au­to­mat­i­cally en­tered into the pool of po­ten­tial win­ners with each daily top up of a min­i­mum of $200. Pre­paid voice or mo­bile In­ter­net plan sub­scribers will be au­to­mat­i­cally en­tered into the pool of po­ten­tial win­ners ev­ery time they pur­chase any voice or mo­bile In­ter­net plan of $200 or higher.

Res­i­den­tial post­paid mo­bile, land­line, In­ter­net, and ca­ble tele­vi­sion sub­scribers will also be au­to­mat­i­cally en­tered into the pool of po­ten­tial win­ners when they pay their bill(s) on time and in full dur­ing the pro­mo­tional pe­riod.

Lee also warned mem­bers of the pub­lic about the on­go­ing ac­tion of scam­mers who may try to cap­i­talise on FLOW’s pro­mo­tion.

“When we call our cus­tomers, we will never ask for any money to be paid be­fore col­lect­ing our prizes. We are, there­fore, urg­ing per­sons to be vig­i­lant and to re­port any sus­pi­cious ac­tiv­ity by call­ing our contact cen­tre, send­ing an email to cus­tomer­ex­pe­ri­enceja@cwc.com, or vis­it­ing our near­est re­tail location,” she ad­vised.
