purple and blue up-lights, bringing a dramatic yet classic element to the venue.

Showtime! The pulsating, versatile dance piece ‘Street meets studio’ choreographed by Kerry-Ann Henry opened the show and got the audience pumping with anticipation. After, models took to the stage, strutting to their own beat in high-fashion collections and men’s apparel that had the women at the edge of their seats. The designers included Carlton Jones, Courtney Washington, Korto Momolu, Lisu Vega, Cesar Galindo, and Irina Shabayeva.

Though each designer brought awesome designs and diversity to the table, there were favourites, namely Korto Momolu, who left patrons awestruck by her Liberia-inspired colours and prints and, Irina Shabayeva’s sparkling, unique creations that were fun and glowing.

After five years of diversity and creative talents in fashion, Collection MoDA continues to electrify fashion in the Caribbean, showcasing new designers in the industry.

The night continued with fun and drinks as patrons recuperated from the major fashion high the MoDA runway brought.
