Messages Remembering Msgr Richard Albert
AYEAR has gone by, but we still remember Monsignor’s strident appeal to his Stella Maris Church community to give of their time, talent and treasure. He led by example: his founding of the St Patrick’s Foundation and support of St Monica’s Home stand out among his achievements. In time, the Stella Maris Church community were pulled in by his charismatic approach and the Stella Maris Foundation was the result.
We continue to feel his presence and guidance as we serve the needs of the Grant’s Pen and surrounding communities through skills training, in conjunction with the Heart Trust; and counselling, with the help of the university, where we also provide a medium Monsignor Richard Albert is presented with a citation by ProComm’s Jean Lowrie-Chin during Stella Maris’ 10th anniversary celebration at which he was honoured in April 2008.
