Caribbean Pulse getting good response with ‘ Blessed’

-

California- based Reggae group Caribbean Pulse recently released a brandnew single titled ‘ Blessed’.

The single was launched a few weeks ago on Barry G’s show on Mello FM.

According to the group’s leader William Smith, aka Billy, the response to Blessed has been very good.

“Not having a single out for almost nine years, we didn’t quite know what to expect. We were all a little bit nervous, but we knew that Blessed is a good song and we hoped the people would like it. So far, the response to the single has been very positive. It’s getting a fair amount of airplay in Jamaica and we haven’t fully cranked up our promotion machinery on the island as yet. Blessed is also getting good vibes in the US, Hawaii and Belize.”

Now that Blessed has been released, Caribbean Pulse will focus their attention on the completion of their third album, Yesterday, which is slated to be released in 2014.

“We’re working on our new album ..., which will be out early next year. This album will follow in the vain of our previous albums, as we bring the people more good reggae music.

For this album, we are looking to push the envelope a bit, because we want to showcase the diversity of the group and give the people some really great music,” said Billy.

He added, “We wanna drop the video for Blessed before Christmas. It’s one of the main things that we want to get done right now, so we can send it out to strengthen the promotion of the song.”
