Pas­sage Fort beat Ken’s to make semis

De­fend­ing champs Pas­sage­fort United ad­vanced to the semi- fi­nals of the Colin Fa­gan- spon­sored South East St Cather­ine Con­stituency Domino League with an ex­cit­ing 250- 240 quar­ter- fi­nal win over Ken’s Wild­flower at the Gar­veymeade Sports Club last Sun­day.

Pas­sage­fort led 128- 120 at half- time but Ken’s Wild­flower launched an at­tack that gave Pas­sage­fort a run for their money.

Both clubs were locked at 228. Pas­sage­fort, how­ever, made a 6- 0 run to win by 10 points. In other games, seeded- team Port­more Tigers whipped Cum­ber­land 250- 222, Water­ford United de­feated Gar­veymeade 250- 220 and Westch­ester Rudiz top seed crushed Ris­ing Sun 250- 188. The semi- fi­nals will be held to­mor­row at two venues in Port­more.
