One new­comer for Windies tour

ST JOHN’S, An­tigua ( CMC): ne new­comer has been named to the West Indies Un­der- 19 team for next month’s tour of Bangladesh, the West Indies Cricket Board ( WICB) has an­nounced.

Jonathan Drakes, the right- handed bats­man from Bar­ba­dos, has been in­cluded in the squad to play seven 50- over matches against the Bangladesh Un­der- 19 team.

The West Indies will be cap­tained by spin- bowl­ing all­rounder Ra­maal Lewis of Ja­maica with Jeremy Solozano, the left- handed opener from T& T as the vice cap­tain.

The 15- mem­ber squad in­cludes most of the play­ers who played in last month’s seven- match se­ries against Bangladesh Un­der- 19s in Guyana.

The West Indies Un­der 19’ s tour of Bangladesh runs from De­cem­ber 2nd to the 21st.
