We are so lucky in Jamaica

The Star (Jamaica) - - FRONT PAGE -

Dear Pastor, I hope that some of us see how lucky we are. Imagine Jamaicans quarrelling for food, bed, baby feeding and pampers on the first night in the shelter. My God! When I see what is happening in Haiti, I hope that the next time they go to the shelter, they walk with their own things. Nobody has the time to quarrel for these things in Haiti.

W.L. Dear W.L., Some of us are indeed surprised that on the very first evening folks went to shelters, they were expected to be fed. Perhaps those whose belongs were washed away would have a legitimate reason to ask for food. But one got the impression that some were doing so because of greed.

Let us pray for Haiti and do our best to help them. Pastor
