Awoman has got married to herself. Crystal Ra Laksmi is convinced everybody has a male and female embedded within them and has decided to defy tradition by getting hitched to her inner man, which she has named Ra after the Egyptian sun god, in a bizarre ceremony in her native Estonia. According to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “The fact that I connected my male and female sides makes me stronger. It makes me a

real queen.”

Although Crystal’s theory has raised a few eyebrows around the world, her 21 guests share the same views as her on life and philosophy, and enjoyed the ceremony. Despite feeling content within now that her inner selves are hitched, the nuptials wasn’t legally binding as Estonia doesn’t recognise single-person weddings. And Crystal isn’t against conventional weddings either as she has admitted she’d happily marry someone else in the near future.
