Reggae and dancehall recording artiste, Benks Ez Boy, is getting set to release his first EP titled ‘My Name Is Benks’, as the first of many music publications in 2017. The EP was produced by Avikon Records and will be distributed globally by Zojak Worldwide.

According to the St Mary-born artiste, the five-track EP will demonstrate his versatility, unique qualities and creativity.

The EP covers as many as four different genres, is listener-friendly and give fans a taste of what Benks’ talents as an entertainer.

A release date of January 27 has been set, and there is a great deal of optimism from the artiste born Kemar Harrison.

“I feel like I am doing something that has never been done before. Maybe it has; mine is a little different because on the track, Set Dis Place On Fire,” he said. “I approached EDM as if I am not an outsider. It will be difficult for one to not think that I am an EDM artiste.”

He said the feature track, We A Hold a Vibes, which is one of two dancehall tracks on the EP, is something to look forward to.

"It's an easy, fun composition that will appeal to partygoers," he said.
