New aircraft for air astana

Air Astana has signed contracts for the lease of six new planes from the Airbus family: three Airbus A320neos and three Airbus A321neos. They will be delivered between

2019 and 2020. In 2015, Air Astana placed an order for the operational lease of 11 Airbus A320neo family of aircraft. In 2016, the first of this new generation of aircraft was delivered to Almaty. Air Astana was the first company in Central Asia and the CIS to use this type of aircraft on its routes. The total number of Airbus A321neo aircraft in the fleet of the national air carrier will be 17 by 2020. All aircraft will be delivered new from the Airbus factory.
