Girls rescued from cut, marriages to get help
More than 350 girls rescued from marriages and FGM by Samburu Girls Foundation will be beneficiaries of government aid. It is expected to help them during the holidays. The aid includes food, sanitary towels and books. During the International Day of the Girl Child celebrations at Loosuk town on Wednesday, Public Service, Youth and Gender CS Cecily Kariuki said the donation was meant to improve the lives of marginalised girls. She was accompanied by Agriculture PS Richard Lesiyampe and Safaricom Foundation officials.
