Born on 7th July, 1960 in Segutiet Vil­lage, Segutiet Parish, Keri­cho Dio­cese, Bomet County. Be­tween 1969 and 1980: At­tended Ch­e­soen and Segutiet Pri­mary schools

1986: Com­pleted his sec­ondary ed­u­ca­tion at Mother of Apos­tles Mi­nor Sem­i­nary, El­doret.

1987: Joined St. Au­gus­tine Ma­jor Sem­i­nary, Bun­goma where he grad­u­ated with Di­ploma in Phi­los­o­phy and re­li­gious stud­ies in 1988

1982: Pro­ceeded to St. Thomas Aquinas Ma­jor Sem­i­nary,

Nairobi for an­other Di­ploma in The­ol­ogy

1989: At­tained a Li­cen­ti­ate (Mas­ters) De­gree in Sa­cred The­ol­ogy from St. Pa­trick Col­lege, Maynooth, Ire­land.

Bap­tized on 8th Septem­ber, 1963 at Kap­long Catholic Parish.

7th Novem­ber, 1982: Or­dained as a priest for Nakuru dio­cese 1982-1987: Served as a priest at Molo and Ki­turo parishes Be­tween 1988 and 1989: Dioce­san vocation direc­tor of Nakuru dio­cese and Epis­co­pal Vo­car of Keri­cho Dean­ery

April 28th ,1990: Ap­pointed bishop of the Catholic Dio­cese of El­doret Oc­to­ber, 30, 2018: Bishop Korir dies aged 78 af­ter serv­ing at El­doret Catholic Dio­cese for 28 years.
