MP blames Jubilee for ‘poor’ performance in previous term
Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi (right) has blamed the ruling Jubilee Party over his perceived “non-performance” in the last four years.
Mr Agoi told his constituents during a public event at Sabatia Primary School that Jubilee top leaders “blocked” most development projects he intended to initiate.
The lawmaker, who was re-elected through Amani National Congress, defended his failure to fulfil a promise of tarmacking the Mago-chamakanga-mululuwangulu-lusui-vokoli road and said the project was “blocked” by government agents.
“I got a contractor to start the construction work but the tender was obstructed by enemies of development in the Jubilee Government,” said Mr Agoi.
