According to a study published in online journal PLOS ONE, a single episode of binge drinking can adversely affect your health. That one binging episode can result in a fast increase of endotoxin levels in the blood. Endotoxin is a major bacterial by-product that interacts with the immune defences. The researchers say that these bacterial toxins cause the body to produce immune cells involved in fever,

inflammation, and tissue destruction.
