Healthy Woman - - HEALTHY LIFE -

Yep, being overweight comes with plenty of health risks… but being skinny isn’t necessarily healthy either! Conditions usually associated with obesity, such as heart disease and diabetes can affect slim people too. One theory to explain this is that everyone has a personal fat threshold – based on genes and diet – that determines how fat you can get before the health risks start kicking in. Thin people can also have a disproportionate amount of fat stored within their abdomen and around their organs, which also raises the risk of type-2 diabetes.
