Many peo­ple are un­der the false im­pres­sion that they only need to work out to achieve fit bod­ies. Like Maryanne Nderu (in Novem­ber is­sue), I have learned the hard way that diet plays an even big­ger role than ex­er­cise. I had been ex­er­cis­ing for years with only slight changes in weight.
