If you are a vinyl records lover or col­lec­tor and en­joy good old-fash­ioned mu­sic, then Soirée Gar­dens on Kin­daruma Road, Nairobi is the place for you to be ev­ery first Sun­day of the month.

The restau­rant plays host to a group of DJs, mu­sic lovers and col­lec­tors all brought to­gether for an evening of fun, food and lively con­ver­sa­tions by their love for Vinyl records.

Last Sun­day, the group lit up Soirée tak­ing cus­tomers back to the days of Anna Mwale, Manou Dibango, Johnny Cash and the like. In at­ten­dance in­cluded ‘We Love Vinyl World­wide’ found­ing mem­ber Jack Oji­ambo, sax­o­phon­ist Jack­son Mu­nala, Ox­fam In­ter­na­tional’s Samah Has­soun and lawyer Wanda At­si­aya.
