Muhia said lead­ers such as Kimunya are well-versed in na­tional pol­i­tics, mak­ing them more suit­able to fight for Nyan­darua’s in­ter­ests. She said any leader in whom the peo­ple see a glim­mer of hope in should be given a chance to grow, in­stead of ex­pect­ing them to per­form 100 per cent in their first term. “It is the peo­ple who build their lead­ers,” Muhia said. She urged Nyan­darua peo­ple not to send lead­ers home after one term.
