Despite one million jobs promise, many youths are jobless

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

The number of graduates who are unemployed is skyrocketing. When the Jubilee government got to power in 2013, it promised to create one million jobs annually. But this does not seem to be the case. In fact, the recent appointments by the President, though few, were given to old and some retired civil servants. This is unfair and ridiculous. Could this be a deliberate move by the government to neglect the youth and make them settle on NYS jobs? The government must find ways to solve the unemployment problem before it blows up.
